harbourside cottage is a beautifully renovated grade II listed cottage on the quay in the heart of charlestown, a georgian harbour village on the south coast of cornwall.
the views from the sitting room, of the sea, charlestown harbour and its traditional sailing
boats are spectacular.
generous furnishings, crisp white bed linen, thick stone walls and the log burner make this
wonderful cottage cool in the summer and cosy in the winter.
on the ground floor there are three generous king sized bedrooms, one has an ensuite
shower, the second bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
on the first floor the large open plan sitting room/dining room has window seats from which
to gaze out over the harbour and the bay.
the kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge, a
freezer and a washing machine/tumble dryer, there is wifi, the tv has sky and a dvd player
and there is a digital radio.
the large lawned garden has a furnished terrace for eating outside, the walkway to the
kitchen means it is easy to fill your glass.
the village has everything you could ask for, a pub, a restaurant, a wine bar, a deli, a cafe, a
museum, an antiques shop and the supermarket is a 10 minute walk.
charlestown is a 10 minute drive from both the eden project and the lost gardens of heligan,
the surfing beach of watergate bay and newquay airport are a 25 minute drive.
animals and smoking are not allowed. parking is free and easy.
